Psykotic
OsamaSon has a name that piques the interest of most of his listeners, and while he isn't really an "underground" artist anymore, his music isn't quite mainstream either. The soundscape present on albums like Psykotic and Jump Out is recognizable by heavy distortion and loud 808s, with production from names like @xgyro and @rokonthetrack.
The Psykotic tour's stop in Denver began with a confusing start, as the DJ set and performance began later than expected, but all was well in the end. Opening his set with "Habits", OsamaSon ran onstage and climbed atop a very unique stage prop, a metal cage with red LED lights installed along the sides. For his hits like "Pop", the crowd began chanting "YA-YA-YA-YA" in unison with the beat. The moshpits were aggressive for a majority of the show, but they were especially crazy during songs like "Hellraiser" and "Ref". Aside from individual songs, every song had a unique intro for the tour, all of which was scored by producer Rok! See our coverage from this show, held at the Fillmore Auditorium, below.
