EDM is not something we cover very often, but the crowd and pyrotechnics at NGHTMRE's sold out show at the Mission Ballroom made this a very memorable experience. The crowd was interspersed with a mix of white collar workers that seemed like they came straight from their shifts and college-age teenagers. Regardless of who was in the crowd, the almost two minute long cinematic that played at the beginning of NGHTMRE's set riled up everyone, ending with a huge beat drop that the headliner ran on stage to.
Even though NGHTMRE may have been the headliner, there was no shortage of openers (great ones, if I may add). Names like FrostTop, Staysick, and Juelz opened for him. Juelz, whose set was right before the main event, had a wide variety of visualizers (some that incorporated popular anime titles like Demon Slayer and Chainsaw Man) and remixes that had concert-goers jumping during his entire set.
